Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year from Do You Punctuate?
These past few weeks have been an immense whirlwind of pulling together the Country Living fair at Harrogate, in a week!
I decided to do the Country Living Fair at the very last minute, so I had to print more than I’ve ever done. I also had to bring forward new ideas I had cooking for next year, new birthday cards and greetings with a cheeky twist! I also had some of my printed pieces transferred onto fabric and that was pretty exciting!
Overall being part of the fair was an amazing experience and one I can’t wait to repeat. I really think larger fairs are great because you engage with so many people I wouldn’t get to reach otherwise. The most positive aspect of this was knowing that my little business took a step up and I am buzzing with excitement at all the things I hope to achieve in 2013.
Here are some photos I took as I started preparing my stand area in my dining room, right through to the final stand at the fair.
Luxury Cotton bags with a 1950’s Santa transfer printed by me! I have a few of these left at £8 a bag with free P&P, email me for further information.
This was the stand on Thursday Morning just before we opened to the public.
The start of the planning, masking out my 1m x 2m stand area. It was very bijou!
Slowly putting the jigsaw of boxes and storage together.
How it all started coming together.
This is one of the many new cards that I’ll be selling from January. I brought this idea forward, based on my mum. Who is my supreme ruler!
So next year here I come! 😀
